Kaushiki Desikan

Featured here is a performance by Kaushiki (Chakrabarty) Desikan. Born and brought up within the Academy, she was a scholar of the Academy, between November 1992 and June 2004, under her father and guru Ajoy Chakrabarty. A rising star, Kaushiki has won numerous awards. Accompanying her during this ITC Sangeet Sammelan performance at Delhi in February 1998, were Samar Saha on the tabla and her father on the harmonium.
