Kaustuv Kanti Ganguli's technical papers published at the National Conference, COIN 2011, the International Symposium, FRSM 2012 and at the West Bengal Science & Technology Congress, 2012 have been very well received and have brought him high acclaim. We are proud to announce that this is the very first time that such an achievement has been made by an ITC SRA Scholar. He has also won the 2nd prize at the All India Radio national level competition, 2011 in the Khayal category. Kaustuv, who is currently pursuing his post graduate studies and research in computational modelling of music in Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, has recently presented his paper on 'Kaafi- The Indian thaat explored' during the Indian Musicological Society Conference on ''Music Performance and Musicology'' which was held on January 18, 2013 at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) Mumbai, India. He received a certificate from IMS acknowledging his presentation which was well received by the participating audience.
Kaustuv has also recently been invited by the Faculty of Performing Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda for an invited talk in their National Seminar on "Riyaz in Indian Music", to be held during February 15-16, 2013, to deliver a seminar on Technology application in Music appreciation and learning.
