We are delighted and proud to inform that Pandit Uday Bhawalkar has been awarded the National Kalidas Samman for the year 2023-24.
The Kalidas Samman is awarded annually at the national level by the Department of Culture, Government of Madhya Pradesh for excellence, creativity and significant contributions in the field of Culture and Arts.
Some of the recipients of this prestigious award in the past years had been Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Jasraj, Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar, Ustad Rahim Fahimuddin Dagar, Vidushi Sumati Mutatkar, Vidhusi Prabha Atre etc.
