The artists for the Wednesday Recital of 10th July, 2024, were Medha Basu and Kalyan Majumdar. The first performance was delivered by Medha Basu, a Scholar of the Academy under Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty and Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee. She began the recital with a vilambit khayal in Raga Bihag. This was followed by two drut compositions set in Jhaptaal and Tintaal. Medha was accompanied by Shri Indranil Bhaduri on the Tabla and Smt. Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium.
The next artist was Kalyan Majumdar, a Scholar of the Academy under Pandit Partha Chatterjee. Kalyan began his performance with an alaap and jor in Raga Jog. Next, he played a gat set in Rupak Taal and a drut composition set in Tintaal.
Kalyan concluded the recital with a composition in Raga Khamaj set in madhyalaya Tintaal. He was accompanied by Shri Asish Paul on the Tabla.
