It was a mid-monsoon evening when Shri Abir Hossain mesmerised the audience with an enchanting solo performance at the Wednesday Recitial, 7th August, 2024. He began the soiree with vilambit and drut compositions of Raga Gaud Malhar set in teental. He played the Raga in Khamaj Ang.
This was followed by vilambit and drut compositions of Raga Kaunsi Kanada set in teental. Abir concluded the recital with a composition in Raga Bhairavi set in keherwa tal. He was accompanied by Shri Jayanta Sarkar on the Tabla and Koustav Roy on the Tanpuri.
