The artists for the Wednesday Recital, 23rd October, 2024 were Krittika Karmakar and Srijanee Banerjee. The first performance was delivered by Krittika Karmakar, Scholar of the Academy under Vidushi Subhra Guha. She began her performance with a vilambit khayal in Raga Kedar. This was followed by a traditional composition of the Raga set in drut Ektaal. She was accompanied by Shri Ashoke Mukherjee on the Tabla and Smt. Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium.
The next performer was Srijanee Banerjee, Scholar of the Academy under Pandit Partha Chatterjee. She began her performance with a composition in Raga Puriya Kalyan. This was followed by a composition of the Raga set in drut Teentaal. She concluded her performance with a dhun in Majh Khamaj. Srijanee was accompanied by Shri Ashoke Mukherjee on the Tabla.
