The artists for the Wednesday Recital of 13th November, 2024, were Sangborti Das and Swarnendu Mandal. The first performance was delivered by Sangborti Das, a Scholar of the Academy under Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty and Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee. She began the recital with a composition in Raga Charukeshi set in vilambit Ektaal. This was followed by a composition of the Raga set in drut Teentaal. Sangborti was accompanied by Shri Bivash Sanghai on the Tabla and Smt. Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium.
The next artist was Swarnendu Mandal, a Scholar under Shri Abir Hossain. Swarnendu began his performance with an alaap in Raga Kausi Kanada. This was followed by a jor and jhala in the Raga. He concluded the performance with madhyalay and drut gats of the Raga composed by Pandit Buddhadeb Dasgupta. Swarnendu was accompanied by Shri Jayanta Sarkar on the Tabla.
