The artists for the Wednesday Recital, 19th February, 2025 were Diya Chowdhury and Swarnendu Mandal. The first performance was delivered by Diya Chowdhury, a Junior Scholar of the Academy under Shri Omkar Dadarkar. Diya began her performance with a vilambit khayal in Raga Kamod. This was followed by a drut composition of the Raga set to Teentaal. Diya concluded with two compositions in Raga Desh set to Adhya and Teentaal. She was accompanied on the Tabla by Shri Bivash Sanghai and on the Harmonium by Shri Jyotirmoy Banerjee and on the Tanpura by Laahorii Bandhopadhaya.
The next artist was Swarnendu Mandal, a Scholar of the Academy under Shri Abir Hossain. Swarnendu began with an alaap, jor and jhala in Raga Malgunji. This was followed by vilambit and drut gats set to Teentaal. Swarnendu was accompanied by Shri Indranil Bhaduri on the Tabla and Partha Mondal on the Tanpuri.
