The artists for the Wednesday Recital of 16th April, 2025 were Pranjal Ghatak and Ruta Deshmukh. The first performance was delivered by Pranjal Ghatak, a Junior Scholar under Shri Paramananda Roy. He began with an alaap in Raga Yaman which was followed by three compositions in vilambit, madhyalay and drut teentaal. Pranjal concluded with a bhajan. He was accompanied by Shri Indranil Bhaduri on the Tabla.
The next performer was Ruta Deshmukh, a Scholar under Shri Omkar Dadarkar. Ruta began with a vilambit khayal in Raga Bihag which was followed by two compositions of the Raga set to drut teentaal and ektaal. She concluded with a dadra. Ruta was accompanied by Shri Bivash Sanghai on the Tabla and Shri Gourab Chatterjee on the Harmonium.
