The rasikas of Kolkata were mesmerised by a delightful Wednesday Recital performance by Guru of the Academy, Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee on 9th July, 2025. Brajeswar began with Shyam Kalyan, an evening Raga and delivered two compositions of the Raga set to vilambit ektaal and drut teentaal. Next, he delivered two compositions in Raga Adana set to jhaptaal and teentaal. Brajeswar concluded with a kajri. He was accompanied by Shri Bivash Sanghai on the Tabla, Smt. Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium and Sudeepto Chakraborty and Anubhab Khamaru on the Tanpura.
