The artists for the Wednesday Recital, 16th July, 2025 were Swarnendu Mandal and Jessica Ghatak. The first performer was Swarnendu Mandal, a Scholar under Shri Abir Hossain. He delivered a number of compositions in Raga Shree and concluded with a composition in Raga Majh Khamaj. Swarnendu was accompanied by Shri Ashis Paul on the Tabla.
The next artist was Jessica Ghatak, a Scholar under Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. She began with a vilambit khayal in Raga Megh and moved on to two Jhaptaal and Teentaal-based compositions of the Raga. She concluded with a dadra in Raga Khamaj. Jessica was accompanied by Shri Bivash Sanghai on the Tabla and Smt. Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium.
