A solo performance by Shri Paramananda Roy enthralled the audience on 13th August, 2025. With a sensible accompaniment by Shri Ashis Paul on the Tabla, the artist began with a vilambit composition set to Raga Puriya Dhyaneshree. He reached the crescendo with a drut composition of the Raga set to teental. Paramananda’s next performance was in Raga Jaijawanty set to jhaptal and drut teental. The drut composition was a famous piece from the Patiala Gharana, “Vinti na kariye”. Paramananda concluded with a thumri ang composition in Raga Majh Khamaj.
