The artistes for the Wednesday Recital of 26th November were Doyita Chakraborty and Ruta Deshmukh. The first performance was delivered by Doyita, a Junior Scholar with Shri Paramananda Roy. This was her debut performance. She began with a vilambit composition in Raga Behag. Next, she delivered two drut compositions set to the same raga.
The next scholar was Ruta Deshmukh, a Scholar with Shri Omkar Dadarkar. She began with a vilambit composition in Raga Kedar, after which she delivered two drut compositions set to madhyalay teental and drut ektal. Ruta concluded with a bhajan. They were accompanied by Shri Ashoke Mukherjee and Shri Bivash Sanghai on the Tabla and Shri Gourab Chatterjee on the Harmonium.
