Mashkoor Ali Khan

Initiated and trained by his father Ustad Shakoor Khan, Mashkoor Ali Khan joined ITC-SRA in 1984 as a musician scholar to further develop his undiluted style of Kirana gayaki. Now, as a guru of the Academy he is nurturing scholars under his wings. This Wednesday Recital recording took place in March 1987. Accompanying Mashkoor were Samar Saha on tabla and Sandip Ghosh on harmonium.
