Sumana Gupta

Initially trained by Pt. Amaresh Chowdhury and Shri Kashinath Chakraborty, Sumana Gupta, a past scholar, initially joined the Academy as a General Class student in 1997. She went on to become a scholar training initially under Subhra Guha of the Agra gharana and finally, under Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty. This performance took place on May 1, 2002. Accompanying her were L N Mishra on tabla and Jyoti Goho on harmonium.
