Nirbhay Saxena
Born in a family of musicians, Nirbhay started learning vocal music at the age of seven from Pandit Umesh K. Kampoowale.
He completed a diploma course from the Indira Kala Viswavidhyalaya, Khairagarh, with a first division and has performed in various music concerts at Gwalior, Datia, Agra, Bhopal and Hyderabad, winning appreciation from connoisseurs and critics, as well as various reputed newspapers in the region.
He is a recipient of the national scholarship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training of the Indian Government and also the ‘Chacha Nehru Scholarship’ from NCERT. He is a Junior Scholar of ITC SRA and is training under Musician Tutor Shri Omkar Dadarkar with general guidance from Padmabhushan Dr. Girija Devi and Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar. Having been awarded the Bal Shree honour for young artists in 2009, Nirbhay is a B grade artiste of All India Radio.
