Asmit Vyas and Shadaj Iyer delivered their solo Wednesday Recitals on 12th August 2026. The first artiste was Asmit, a Scholar under Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. He began his performance with a vilambit composition in Raga Shuddh Kalyan, which he ornamented with a tarana in teental and a composition in ektal as well. Asmit concluded with a Meera bhajan. He was accompanied by Shri Bivash Sanghai on the Tabla.
The next performer was Shadaj Iyer, a Scholar under Vidushi Subhra Guha. Shadaj delivered a vilambit composition in Raga Gaud Malhar followed by two drut compositions in Teental. Next, he delivered two compositions in Raga Sohini. Shadaj was accompanied by Shri Kousik Banerjee on the Tabla. Smt Rupashree Bhattacharya accompanied all the performers on the Harmonium.
