Musician Scholar of the Academy, Kalyan Majumdar delivered his solo performance at the Wednesday Recital on 15th July 2026. Kalyan began with an alaap in Raga Jaijawanty, followed by a vilambit and a madhyalay composition set to teental. Next, he played a madhyalay composition in Raga Sur Malhar set to Rupak, which he concluded with a composition in drut teental. Kalyan finished his performance with a thumri in Majh Khamaj. He was accompanied by Shri Indranil Bhaduri on the Tabla.
