Young scholars from the ITC Sangeet Research Academy engrossed the audience with their solo performances on 24th June, 2026. Shreyan Sarkar, the first performer of the evening, opened with a vilambit khayal in Raga Yaman. Shreyan, a Scholar under Shri Deborshee Bhattacharjee and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty went on to deliver a teental bandish and a tarana in the Raga. He concluded with an abhang. Shri Indranil Bhaduri accompanied him on the Tabla and Smt Rupashree Bhattacharya on the Harmonium.
The next performer was Pranjal Ghatak; a Scholar trained under Shri Paramananda Roy. Pranjal began his performance with a vilambit composition in Raga Bageshree. Next, he delivered two bandishes set to teental. He concluded with a dhun in Raga Mishra Pahadi, a composition by Shri Gopal Roy. Pranjal was accompanied by Shri Ashoke Mukherjee on the Tabla.
